Residential Addiction Treatment – Utah

Research shows that the most effective residential treatment centers are small in size. Because of this, Ascend Recovery provides intimate and individualized treatment for those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. At Ascend Recovery, we only have eight residential beds. Because of this, we can develop drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers that address the specific needs of the individual. In addition to the size of the rehabilitation center, research has also shown that a 60-day residential program is most effective. Here at Ascend Recovery, the average stay is 60 days, and we require that patients commit to at least a minimum of a 30-day stay.

This residential treatment center focuses on the individual. With a treatment center you get all the quality care of a hospital without the hospital. Residential treatment centers are typically designed to house, treat, and educate those whose problems are severe enough that they require an environment that is supervised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Typically, these centers include doctorate-level clinical staff, psychiatric intervention. That is not to say that all residential treatment centers take only the most severely troubled.

The purpose of a residential treatment center is to effect long-term internal and external changes in a person with addiction. This is usually achieved by creating an individualized and consistent plan for addressing problems through three or more different areas of influence: the classroom; clinical treatment; and the therapeutic milieu, or living environment. At Ascend Recovery we focus on the individual and their specific needs, not one case is the same.

In a residential treatment center communication is a key element. It will help determine that strengths, or weaknesses, or concerns in one area will be delt with in all area's of treatment.

At Ascend Recovery we promise a lifetime of committed care to assist you in the recovery process. You can achieve your freedom from the disease of addiction and we will be there to help!
